The customer’s requests were to have a checkweigher combined with a metal detector, to weigh and check that the products are free from contamination.
The filling machine has one height but different heights on the products, which means that the Teltek C80 Combo’s height must be adjustable to receive the products from the filling machine.
With help of a height-adjustable stand, the height can be adjusted, and the conveyor will be adapted to the product coming from the filling machine.
Plastic guides are placed through the metal detector to stabilize the product past the customer’s inkjet printer. Meanwhile the metal detector checks that there are no contaminants in the products.
In case of metal alarm, the production line stops and alarms with buzzer and lamp, then the staff can manually remove the contaminated product from the line.
If a product does not have the set weight limit value, it will be sorted out by the overhead pusher.
